China

Now something more about myself. Went to China Xi'an for Overseas Industrial Training Programme during February for nearly 2 months. Here are some photos of that memorable experience. I was based in a town called Yan Liang about 60 km away form Xian city. Restricted to outsiders as it was a secret aircraft production town. Based in Xian Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute we spent time socialising with locals as well as touring around the ShaanXi Province. Well a picture speaks a thousand words, so let it do its job.

We also went mountain climbing at Mount Hua. Started climbing at 9 pm and reached the 2160m peak at about 4 am. Nearly froze to death. No harnesses to help us tackle the slippery slopes, cliff angles at near 90 degrees and more. However all efforts and death cheating stunts were well rewarded with frost bites, fatigue, satisfaction as well as stunningly beautiful views on the top of the mountain. Well worth all the effort.
